There are a total of 52 landing attempts made ever - with a success rate of 42%
United States made 17 attempts and was successful 11 times, whereas Soviet Union made 27 attempts and was successful 7 times.
After the end of space race, there were no moon landing attempts made for almost four decades. In the last decade, there were a total of 8 attempts with four being successful (China - 3, India - 1)
Every Space Debris Orbiting the Earth

Around 14,000 debris pieces are orbiting Earth, excluding millions of untracked fragments. Major contributors are Russia (4,521), the United States (4,317), and China (4,137).
Single events can generate thousands of debris pieces. China's 2007 Anti-satellite test created 3,500 fragments, while the 2009 Russian-US collision produced over 2,000.
Some space agencies like the European Space Agency are also making plans to ensure their space technology is designed with safe disposal plans to significantly reduce the accumulation of space junk.

Top three African countries with highest number of military equipment - Egypt, Algeria, and Morocco are all situated in North Africa
Egypt (world rank #6) has most number of military equipment than rest of the African countries combined
There are no African nations with nuclear weapons, although, South Africa has the capability to develop nuclear weapons. In fact, the country had 6 nuclear weapons before they were dismantled in early 1990s, right when the country signed Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT)
