A 330ml bottle of beer is most expensive in Qatar at $11.26. In part, this is because in 2019, the Muslim-majority country introduced a 100% excise tax on sale price of all alcohol imports.
At $1.68 per bottle, South Africa has the lowest average beer price per bottle
Czech Republic, the biggest per capita consumer of beer in the world (~400 bottles/person/year - no kidding!) pays an average of $2.49 per bottle.
